This summer, I have the opportunity to be a part of a foundation that honors Isabella Santos, a girl who bravely battled a persistent neuroblastoma until 2012. My team and I hope to raise money and awareness for rare cancers so that children like Isabella have a shot at not only survival, but a high quality life. Through ISF, Levine Children's Hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina has established the first MIBG Therapy Suite in the Charlotte area, making effective and less harmful cancer treatments more accessible for local families.
