I've been running to crush cancer for over a decade. In high school, I switched my focus from breast cancer (which took my mom from me when she was only 28 and I was 5) to pediatric cancer, neuroblastoma in particular. I learned the hard truth about the lack of age appropriate treatments and the strength of little ones and their families first hand. I'm honored to share that the little one who sparked my fight to crush kids cancer is 13 years cancer free this month! In her honor, my goal is to raise $1,300 by September 26th - the day of the Isabella Santos 5/10K for Kids Cancer that has gone virtual this year. I ran the Boston Marathon the past 2 years raising money to crush cancer. Even with all the races cancelled this year, I "Can't Stop, Won't Stop!" I hope I can count on your support to get to this goal.
